Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Payment Terms

All appointments must be paid in full prior to the appointment date.

However Cash Payments (In-Person Appointments Only), can be paid on arrival on the day of your appointment, in which case your online booking (made by you or manually by Melanie Harris Kinesiology - upon your request, confirms your agreement to this Cancellation & Refund Policy

For Cash Payment at checkout choose the Manual Payment option.

We reserve the right to refuse cash payments.

Booking either Online or Manually booked online by Melanie Harris Kinesiology - upon your request, confirms your agreement to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.

 

2. Cancellation Policy – In-Person Appointments only

Appointments may be cancelled with a full refund provided that: 

  • At least 48 hours’ notice is given prior to the scheduled appointment time; and Notice is provided via one of the following methods: 

  • Preferred Method: Cancelling via the "Manage Booking" tab in your confirmation email 

          Or:

  • The Contact Us form on the website 

Cancellations made with 48 hours or more notice will receive a full refund to the original method of payment. 

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. 

 

3. Rescheduling – In-Person Appointments only

Appointments may be rescheduled without additional charge provided that: 

  • At least 48 hours’ notice is given; and Notice is provided via: 

  • Preferred Method: Rescheduling via the "Manage Booking" tab in your confirmation email 

         Or:​

  • The Contact Us form on the website 

Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be treated as a late cancellation and may not be eligible for transfer 

 

4. Remote / Online Appointments 

All remote/online appointments are: 

  • Non-refundable 

  • Non-transferable 

Once booked, remote/online sessions cannot be cancelled for a refund or transferred to another date or person. 

Please ensure you are available and able to attend online before booking a remote/online appointment.

You must be able to send a hair sample (ideally x4 or more strands with the root attached) in good time before the appointment (tracked courier/post is advised, as we can not be responsible for late arrival and another session would need to be booked at full price, in the event it didn't arrive on time). 

Online/Remote appointments can not take place without the hair sample being in clinic ready for the appointment time booked

 

5. Gift Vouchers & Colloidal Silver  

Gift vouchers purchased through our booking system and processed manually by Melanie Harris Kinesiology, can be redeemed against our products/services only. They are non-transferable unless stated otherwise. 

Gift Vouchers & Colloidal Silver can be purchased in person and payment by BACS or CASH or Payment link.   

Gift Vouchers can be posted if paying by BACS/Payment Link.   

Colloidal Silver is non-refundable and is collection only due to the glass bottle container  

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law. 

If you experience any issues with your voucher (for example, non-delivery or technical faults), please contact us and we will resolve the issue or provide a refund where appropriate. 

14-Day Cancellation Rights: 

When purchasing a gift voucher online (which will be manually processed by Melanie Harris Kinesiology and a confirmation email then received by yourself includng payment terms), you agree to immediate delivery/collection of the voucher and acknowledge that this may affect your statutory right to cancel. 

By completing your purchase, you consent to the voucher being issued immediately and acknowledge that you may lose your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. 

Voucher is void if no-show to the appointment time booked with said voucher. 

 

6. Missed Appointments 

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without 48 hrs+ notice will result in the full session fee being retained. 

 

7. Refund Processing 

Where a refund is applicable: 

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. 

  • Please allow a reasonable period for the refund to appear in your account (processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, often 7-10 days). 

 

8. Exceptional Circumstances 

In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to exercise discretion. 

If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered either: 

  • An alternative appointment date; or 

  • A full refund.
